The purpose of the Challenge is for DDXprop to observe and evaluate your trading style in a simulated environment. Since your trading data may be used for real market trading on our own account, it is essential for you to demonstrate that you manage risk effectively and trade responsibly.
The rules in Step 1 and Step 2 are analogical:
- Min Trading Days: 5
You must execute trades on at least 5 different days. These can be consecutive or spread out, depending on your trading style. - Max Trading Days: none
- Profit Target: 10% of the initial account balance Once you achieve the profit target, you will see this indicated on your Dashboard. At this point, you need to close all your open positions. Once you do that, the difference between your current balance and your initial balance should be equal to or higher than 10%.
- Max Daily Loss: 4% of the initial account balance This rule limits your daily losses to 4% of the initial balance, ensuring disciplined risk management. A potential violation of this rule results in the closure of your Challenge account.
- Max Loss: 8% of the initial account balance This acts as a stop-loss for your account. If your account equity (balance + open P/L), including swaps and commissions, drops below 90% of the initial balance, you’ll have violated this rule. It is designed to protect the account funds while encouraging responsible risk management. A potential violation of this rule results in the closure of your Challenge account.
